With this discovery, I’ll list out how KBM players are at a significant disadvantage in MW2: Here's a tutorial link if anyone else wants to try it for themselves as well: Sniping was also surprisingly easy, all I had to do was put the crosshairs over the enemy’s body and press the movement keys, and it was able to track all movements of the enemy while automatically compensating for my own movements. CQB was also a breeze, as the rotational aim assist started tracking the enemy before I reacted to them and started aiming all I had to do was keep holding the movement keys. I had almost perfect accuracy when ADS, despite only aiming in the general direction of my enemy. I downloaded reWASD and emulated my KBM as a controller, then I went ahead and enabled aim assist. This led me to investigate the effect of aim assist. However, the more killcams I watched, the more I realized that a lot of players had almost perfect accuracy when aiming at me. But the number of times I'm losing firefights compared to MW1(2019) is abysmal.Īt first, I thought it was a skill issue, so I practiced a bunch on aim trainers. I'll admit that I'm not the best KBM player in the world I'd rate myself either as average or slightly above average skill-wise.
